Listing to 'Matthewdavid' is like looking at a Matthew Furie illustration. You get the basic idea but there's so much more beneath the surface. 'MD' is an excellent lo-fi, geek hop act from LA. Unlike many of 'MD's' peers, he manages to incorporate soothing mixes of ho's and hum's to make some of the most blissed out songs to date. "First_Day_Rmxd," originally a Dntel track, is a mash of all things that make 'MD' great. Booms, clicks, whistles all culminate to create one exquisite piece of work.
