Video: Washed Out - Feel It All Around

This fan video for 'Washed Out's' masterpiece "Feel It All Around" was to good not to post. Grab the mp3 and watch the video after the jump.

Venice Is Sinking

"Venice Is Sinking," is a blissful pop group from Athens, Georgia. Charming vocals and heartwarming instrumentals make this band a long overdue addition to the indie-pop realm. On "Okay," the title track on the bands phenomenal EP, Daniel and Karolyn croon as the song progressively starts to gather momentum and eventually erupts into an epic 'Granddaddy-esque' anthem. Pick up "Okay," "Compass," and watch the brand new video for "Okay," after the jump.

Timber Timbre

'Timber Timbre' is an eerie folk project from Toronto. They've been around for a little while but its not till recently, I've heard about them. The haunting "Demon Host," is a balmy, and subdued song that only involves a boy, a piano, a few friends, and a guitar. It starts with some drafty guitar strumming followed by ghostly vocals, which lead into unearthly choir chanting. It's an all around exquisite track, perfect for the fall. Snag "Demon Host," "Lay Down In The Tall Grass," "Trouble Comes Knocking," check out the video for "Demon Host," and peep the tour, all after the jump.

Candy Claws

'Candy Claws' is an experimental, ambient, dream-pop project based out of Fort Collins, Colorado. Soft vocals, watery instrumentals, and shimmering fragments are assembled to produce some of this years warmest melody's. This is how dream-pop should sound. "Catamaran," is the bands stand out single, starting out with a sample of some ocean waves followed by a mellow strum of guitars and low key percussion. "Lantern Fish," is another mellow track that provides a catchy guitar hook and some great electronic work. Grab both Mp3's, a copy of "The Sun Is My Girl," and watch the video for "Catamaran," after the jump.

Hanoi Janes

This next band is from Germany, that's right Sachsen, Germany. I know, I know, your first reaction is probably double ugh but the 'Hanoi Janes' are really something special. Don't worry their more Beach Boys than Bach. Somehow this band has successfully broken through obscurity and signed with the amazing Captured Tracks. "Across The Sea" is 'Hanoi's' first proper single and is one of the better songs I've heard this Summer. Their catchy drum claps and up beat guitar parts really play a big part in this bands intrigue. So don't get caught up on the stereotypes and give this band a listen. Grab Mp3's, peep a new vid, and check out the German only tour dates after the jump.

Video: Grizzly Bear - While You Wait For The Others

Here's the video for the "Veckatimest" standout "While You Wait For The Others." Like every other 'Grizzly Bear' video it's pretty weird but overall, entertaining. Leave your > symbols at the jump.

Fluffy Lumbers

'Fluffy Lumbers' is another great lo-fi solo project from New Jersey. Like his buddy's from 'Real Estate' he creates beachy, surf rock that fits right into this summers unusual boom of the sub-genre. "Cruisers" is a great song that has the standard bedroom feel and "Cruisers Pt. 2 (Police Cruisers)" is a late, great, high energy, summer jam. Get both Mp3's, a bonus, and peep a live video of him covering 'The Cranberries' after the jump.

New AA Bondy

If you've never heard of 'AA Bondy' you are missing out my friend. Bondy's new single "When The Devil's Loose" has been on heavy repeat at SE headquarters* these days. It's a dusty, bluesy, Dylan-esque work that lives true to Bondy's former sound. Although his melody's haven't evolved from 2007's masterwork "American Hearts," that's not necessarily a bad thing. Bondy's smokey voice carry's him through the hazy instrumentals and melancholy lyrics. Grab the Mp3, check out the tour dates, and watch a live vid after the jump.
